The Civil Rights Coalition is a grassroots organization formed by private citizens in Massachusetts committed to protecting and preserving the constitutional rights of all residents. Our current focus is on repealing MGL Chapter135/ H.4885, An Act Modernizing Firearm Laws, and ensuring that similar unconstitutional legislation does not erode the civil liberties that are the cornerstone of our democracy. MA registered voters will have an opportunity to vote the repeal by a state-wide election referendum ballot question as part of the states next annual election – November 2026 . ABOUT THE CIVIL RIGHTS COALITION

We are a Grassroots effort that was created to Stop the MA Legislature from Taking Your Rights!

At The Civil Rights Coalition, we believe in protecting one of the most fundamental human rights: the right to defend yourself and your family. We are a grassroots movement of everyday citizens—your neighbors, friends, and fellow voters—who are united by a shared commitment to preserving the freedoms that make our communities strong, safe, and just.

Our mission transcends political labels and partisanship. We stand for the rights of responsible, law-abiding individuals to protect their loved ones, free from unnecessary government overreach. This isn’t about political ideology—it’s about common sense and fairness. We aim to empower all people, regardless of background or beliefs, to safeguard their homes, families, and futures.

Our fight goes beyond protecting the right to defend oneself and one’s family. By standing firm against the so-called “modernization” of these rights, we are setting a powerful precedent for the protection of all freedoms. History has shown that when one right is compromised, others soon follow. The freedom of speech, the right to protest, and the freedom of religion—all cornerstones of democracy—depend on preserving the integrity of every constitutional guarantee.

Our Vision

At The Civil Rights Coalition, we believe in the fundamental principle that everyone deserves to have their rights and freedoms respected. Our vision is to foster a community where all citizens, regardless of their personal views and opinions, stand together in the defense of individual liberties.

The Civil Rights Coalition isn’t just working to safeguard a single freedom; we are defending the framework that protects them all. Together, we are ensuring that future generations inherit a country where civil liberties are cherished, not rewritten or weakened in the name of modernization. We are committed to protecting the rights of responsible, law-abiding individuals who contribute positively to their communities and seek only to exercise their rights without fear of unjust repercussions.

By uniting people across different perspectives, we aim to build a society where mutual respect and understanding drive our efforts to safeguard civil rights for everyone.

Our Mission

The Civil Rights Coalition is dedicated to fostering informed and honest dialogue about the true causes of violent crime and who is actually committing these crimes. The Madness must stop. Our mission is to bridge divides by providing a platform for open discussions that challenge misconceptions and focus on evidence-based solutions.

We advocate for fair and balanced policies that address crime without unfairly targeting responsible law-abiding citizens and hunters who contribute positively to society. By examining the root causes of violence and advocating for sensible reforms, we aim to ensure that laws are designed to protect all citizens while respecting the rights of those who uphold the law.
